Slow Aging Process, Do it the Easy Way


You cannot do anything about the birth date written in your birth certificate nor can you prevent your next birthday from happening. Men and women everywhere need to face the reality and effects of growing old. This does not however mean that you cannot do anything to slow down its effect on your body and particularly on the skin. The good news is however, is that you can do something to slow aging process without the necessity of going under the knife for cosmetic surgery.

Yes, there are now a lot of methods and techniques to choose from which could aid to slow aging process for both men and women. In many cases, people who are conscious of countering the tell tale signs of growing old, try to face it head on. This means that instead of fixing the sagging and wrinkling of the skin, many now prefer to slow down the aging process even before the signs shows on the body and the skin.

To slow aging process there are three basic things to consider.

First, is on how to respond to the changes that would inevitably occur to your once flawless and supple complexion? Well, as to this two things should be taken cared off, and they are:

· Getting the proper nutrients and care to keep the skin and body strong and healthy. As to this it is important to remember, the following tips:

a) Eat a well balanced diet.

b) Get enough vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C.

c) Avoid foods that are oily, salty, processed, with artificial sweetness and has a lot of fats.

d) Have enough fiber in your daily menu.

e) Eat foods that are rich in anti oxidants, such as dark colored berries. These are good for help in slowing down the aging process, as well as great protection from the development of cancer.

f) Avoid alcoholic drinks.

g) Do not over eat and try to monitor your weight.

h) Drink enough clean water everyday. This means at least eight glasses a day.

i) Stop smoking. According to many studies on the effect of smoking. Smokers tend to develop early the following; wrinkle and lines, gauntness and off-color complexion. This occur since smoking causes he blood to flow slower to the body.

· Keeping a healthy and happy disposition/attitude towards life. This can better be achieved, through:

a) Getting enough rest and relaxation. This is to allow the cells to repair itself and regenerate.

b) Finding a hobby you like and enjoy. This is to find an out let from the everyday stress one encounters in life.

c) Exercise regularly. Most wellness, programs or slow aging process techniques would often include having a regular exercising regimen. This is because exercise not only promotes wellness of body, but also of wellness in both body and spirit.

What we have discussed are just a few of the practical things one can look into to slow aging process. In the end of the day where health and wellness are concern, the best would still be to try and maintain a sound and healthy body. After all a healthy and happy person is always a beautiful person, regardless of age.
